Project Overview :
Trigger at Twilight is my response to a third-year Unity project, where we were given full creative freedom for one week to design a game we truly enjoyed (and that would also appeal to our instructor). Due to a concurrent Game Jam for TapNation, I was only able to dedicate five days to development, but this experience proved invaluable for my growth as an independent developer.
The result is a Western-themed first-person shooter, in which the player must shoot at a ghost that randomly appears every five seconds across a semi-open map while collecting pumpkins scattered throughout the environment. The ghost’s position can be identified using a crosshair system inspired by the “Haedir” mechanic from Middle Earth: Shadow of War.
Skills Developed:
Comprehensive game design for an original concept
Level design for a semi-open map
Design and implementation of shooting and movement mechanics
Creation of user interfaces (HUD, menus)
